关于作者
苗族音乐人,大鬼师乐队(Xangs)主唱,枯勇士(Bad Nios Sot)实验音乐小组成员,苗文翻译局(QXLHm)发起人之一,跨界作者。有意逃离庞然大物的宏伟叙事,而关心个体经验,相信旧传统,也拥抱新事物,坚持母语文学/音乐创作,长期关注少数民族文化的当代意义及其呈现,并进行多路径的探索与实践,涉足音乐、文学、出版、当代艺术等领域。出版苗族神话故事绘本《巨人制天造地》《太阳月亮造好了》,创作有诗剧《白蚁》、舞剧《河》。曾参加广东时代美术馆的“河流脉搏”“时代异托邦三部曲之III - 从不扔东西的人”等展览项目。2023年发起[DIOT HXAK 种歌——苗族民谣实验现场]个人全国巡演计划,参加阿那亚大地艺术节。2024年被选入北京当代艺术基金会、财新视听、财新创意联合发起的《新声——中国当代艺术家推新计划》,参加广州【声音共和】周年庆“大地轰鸣”演出、南丹音乐节、红印艺术中心艺术展「礼部文件:发须爪」等。
A Miao musician, he is the lead vocalist of the band Xangs, a member of the experimental music group Bad Nios Sot, and one of the founders of the Miao Literature Translation Bureau (QXLHm). A cross-disciplinary artist, he seeks to escape grandiose narratives and instead focuses on individual experience.
He believes in old traditions while embracing new ideas, and is committed to creating in his native language through literature and music. His work is deeply engaged with the contemporary significance of ethnic minority cultures and their representation, exploring and practicing across multiple paths, including music, literature, publishing, and contemporary art. He has published Miao mythological storybooks The Giants Who Created the Sky and Earth and The Sun and Moon Were Made. His works also include the poetic drama Termite and the dance drama River. He has participated in exhibitions such as "River Pulse" and "Utopias of Our Time: Trilogy III – The People Who Never Throw Anything Away" at Guangdong Times Museum. In 2023, he launched the national tour [DIOT HXAK - Songs of the Miao: An Experimental Folk Live Performance] and participated in the Aranya Plein Air Art Project. In 2024, he was selected for the New Voices - Emerging artists in China, a joint initiative of the Beijing Contemporary Art Foundation, Caixin Audiovisual, and Caixin Creative. He also performed at the ROS Live Anniversary "Earth Roars" concert in Guangzhou and the Nandan Music Festival,"Ministry of Rites Archive: Hair, Beard, and Claws" at HONIN ART CENTER.
