"Accent is my Anchor" is a scattered record of my diasporic life in Hong Kong and beyond, primarily during 2022 and 2023. It visually captures the nuanced feelings as a creator living among different languages and locals - observing violence and taking root.

從決定始終用中文書寫的那一刻起，便要面對母語的困境，如何在從容中達至精確。菲林攝影則陌生如拉丁文，最初甚至並非因其質地而心折，僅僅因為我需要重新學習它的詞彙和文法，與我中學時稍加瞭解的數碼攝影不同。就像粵語直譯
fresh air為「鮮風」，那樣強勁、清爽、好玩。
對身後的龐大傳統仍有敬畏，相機和膠卷替我分擔了這些重負，我只是散步與拍攝，其餘留給他們。
