「月神孔苏在和智慧之神托特的塞尼特棋赌局中，输掉了自身的大部分月光：除了满月之夜，其余时候伊的力量都是残缺的。所以在这个受到古埃及宗教影响的拜月的国家，身有残缺之人会被当作孔苏的象征，受到尊崇。久而久之，世界上有许多在生长的地方不能被接纳的残缺者，都聚集到这个国家，有尊严地生活在这裏。我在出生后没多久就被抛弃了。我生来就是这样，没有四肢，像是残像。」
